
LeAnn Jones, Master's Level Intern

LeAnn is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student who is passionate about walking alongside individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. She provides a compassionate, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel safe, heard, and valued.

LeAnn brings over twenty years of experience in education, having spent many years as an elementary teacher and the past fifteen years as a high school counselor. She has a strong passion for working with children and adolescents and is excited to expand her practice to include adults. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, life transitions, conflict, chronic pain and the challenges surrounding the transition from high school to college. LeAnn’s approach focuses on equipping clients with practical tools while empowering them to navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.
LeAnn earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1998 and 1999. She later earned a Master of Education in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012 and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Nelson University in 2013. She is currently completing her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lamar University and is expected to graduate in May 2027.

Outside of her work as a school counselor and clinician, LeAnn enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. She is actively involved in her church, where she volunteers in the orchestra and assists her husband with a Sunday School class.

LeAnn is excited to work with individuals outside the school setting and is committed to helping clients create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
